Design Notebook 1

dance party
This was a little confusing, but it was really fun. The surprising thing was how easy I could share my project. It was a bit confusing getting led by the step by step. As a learner, I liked the structure of the step by step, but I wish it was more clear. I like having more freedom when I am confident in my work. I feel most creative on scratch when I am picking my own sprites.

Blog Post 2 - Quarter 2

Three things I want to learn:
 1. How to add color
 2. How to add pictures
 3. How to add a border

Two things I learned
 1. How to start a web page
 2. H1-H8

One thing I am concerned about
 1. Whether or not I will have a lot of trouble doing this on my own.

Blog Post 11: New Code

1. Create a new code for Binary system (you cannot use the traditional number or alpha system we have already used in class)
The new code I would create is having the numbers on the card.

2. Blog about this and explain your system.
My system would be having the actual number on the card instead of a 1 or 0 on the card. there would be an X if the card was off and the actual number, for example 16 or 8 would be on the card if it was on.

Blog Post 8: Eliza

1. Did you find Eliza to be "human-like"?
No, not at all.

2. How would you try to make her seem more human?
Maybe have her have more of the answers.

3. What can you expect from a computer as far as having it express any emotion or emotion like words?
I would expect it to know what i am talking about and not have a question in return.

4. Do you see in the future that computers could be a good 'human-like" substitute?
Yes i think they could be worked on a bit.

blog post #9: binary

1. What is the highest level you got to. No shame here, and no pressure either.
Level 4

2. What is the hardest part of the binary game?
When it starts to add up and there is so much on the board it gets stressful.

3. Do you like using binary numbers to count with?
It's not bad it can just get a little time consuming.

4. How could you use your 5 fingers to count with?
To add up the smaller numbers.

5. Can you make a connection with how the binary system is used with computers? Explain.
I'm really not sure maybe with like work count or spell count?

Scavenger Hunt Post #5

1. Please tell me 1 area of strength that you are good at when conducting searches.
I am good at searching through information to find the answers to questions!

2. Please tell me 2 areas you could improve.
I could maybe work a bit quicker because sometimes it takes me a while to find the answers.

My Partner

My partner today is Krista Levey. It's a pleasure working with her, and I have no problems with it whatsoever. We make such a great team and work extremely well together. We both discuss what we want to put on our project, and then execute it in a beautiful way and give it our all. We are very happy working with each other and believe that our project will come out amazing!

Hello I'm Courtney, nice to meet you! I am a 17 year old senior at Reading Memorial High School. My favorite movie may or may not be American Hustle, and my favorite book is "Staying Strong" by Demi Lovato. I have a passion for makeup, as well as saving animals. I could do both of these things all day, everyday, and never get sick of them. I do my makeup as much as I can to practice different techniques, and whenever I get the chance, I practice on other people so I can learn how to work with different skin tones and skin types. Another passion of mine is helping out animals. I am a vegetarian and I have been for 3 years and I will never go back to eating meat. It has truly changed my life and showed me that we have so many other ways of getting protein. My dream is to work as a makeup artist and to also work at a shelter and save animals!
